Colin tells me that seeing a Bald Eagle means you will have good luck. One morning right before Thanksgiving, we saw this Bald Eagle sitting in a tree outside our house. As I opened the shades in the morning, there he sat. That very morning, on the way to school, we saw a Bald Eagle fishing out of Prior Lake. The next day, Molly and I saw a Bald Eagle flying over Costco. Unfortunately the luck didn't make me win the lottery. So maybe all the luck was used for something else, but anytime you get to see a bald eagle up close is a good day!
I just starting working on some of my photos and found this one. I had forgotten all about our week of Eagle sightings. I love how the picture turned out and am so glad I could capture him sitting there. Bald Eagles are such amazing birds and we love that we can see them in our backyard.
