LASIK

Last Thursday I had LASIK on both eyes.  It is a horrible procedure with fantastic results.  I sat up right after the procedure and could see the clock on the wall.  I can read the very bottom of the eye chart clear as day with my left eye and I honestly don't remember a time I could do that.  My right eye is still causing trouble, but I couldn't be more thrilled!  And each night when it starts to get late, I don't feel the need to remove the two pieces of sandpaper from my eyes and put on the coke bottles so I can see the TV for just a little longer before I close my eyes for the night.  I will no longer have to plan my day around how late I need to keep those pieces of plastic in my eyes either.  I don't have to worry about how windy the day is and what that will do to my vision.  I just had no idea how wonderful a world without eye wear could be.
