Day 8 began with two upset boys. It turns out they hoped that the six hours of school time break would have erased my memory and their punishments. When Zach found out he was still in trouble, he began to grumble.
Z: Why do you have to ground us? No other parents ground their kids.
R: There are different levels of grounding...
Z: Yeah, most people just take away video games. Not do mean stuff like lock them in their room.
R: Well unfortunately you got suck with the world's meanest mom.
C: Holy Crap Zach, she isn't mean. Have you seen some of those other mom's and dad's out there?
M: Yeah, I like our Mom.
C: Yeah, they don't give them any video games, tv or computers EVER. That is mean.
Z: Who cares about technology? You can live without technology.
C: Sometimes, they even put them on leashes.
Z: What? They do not.
C: Yeah, I have seen it. And they control everywhere they go and don't let them do anything.
Z: That would be bad.
C: Yeah.
M: Yeah. We have a good mom.
I guess I have been dethroned.
