And we're off...

It is the sixth day to Mexico! (which means tomorrow is the big day!)

Everyone is so excited to be heading for a week of fun in the sun!  Preparation has been crazy.  We started so long ago that I don't even remember a time we weren't going to Mexico!  We had to get passports for the kids...a blog post in and of itself for another time.  We had to get new summer clothes because my kids have finally grown!  We had to get new shoes because of the growth factor.  We had to get homework done for all the days of school we will be missing.  We had to get lots of sunscreen to protect our Minnesota white skin! We had to have talks about safety in other countries. And after all of that...I think we might actually be ready!

So we are off...saying goodbye to the Savage North for an entire week!

And I am sure there will be plenty of vacation stories to share because it wouldn't be a Jensen Vacation without stories.
