Happy Valentine's Day

It may be a Hallmark holiday, but I try never to let an opportunity go by to let my loved ones know how much I care.  I embrace Valentine's Day for that very reason.  My family didn't let the opportunity go by to let me know how much I mean to them too.  Todd sent me these lovely flowers.  Tulips are my favorite flowers and he sent me the most beautiful pink and red tulips!

Colin took time to make me this beautiful card.  He taped two pieces of paper together and made a pop up heart card.  Through the center, he placed an arrow.  It was the best card I have ever received because he worked so hard on it.

Molly sang to me today in her school Valentine's concert.  She also made me a card with the new type of poetry she is learning (I forget the name, but it is the one that uses pictures instead of words).  It was heart warming to listen to preschool voices sing skidamarinkadinkadoo one last time.  I will miss that very much.

Zach did something that could not be photographed.  He told me he loves me.  Zach does not like to share his feelings with anyone, so the fact that he could say he loved me on Valentine's Day (even if it was when I tucked him into bed, in a dark room, while he faced the wall) was the best gift of all!
