A bit of catch-up...

With moving, I really forgot to record all the big moments (mostly for Molly) I captured on film...

Our soccer star, take 3.

Todd and I both dream that our kids will like the sports we played.  I think this is mostly because we understand those sports more than ones we didn't play.  The boys seem to both be gravitating toward lacrosse instead of the soccer or baseball we understand.  But, Molly seems to really like soccer, for now.  She is one of the only kids on her preschool age team that has played before, so she is a star.  She scored the first goal of the season (here she is celebrating).  She continues to score goals in each game.  The best part though is that her face always has a smile as she runs up and down the field.  So as soon as everyone else figures out how to play, she may no longer love soccer.  But for now, I can dream...

Moving On.

Molly graduated from preschool in May.  It was tougher on me than her.  But it was fun to watch her sing the songs they had practiced and enjoy watching the video I put together of all her preschool friends.  She felt pretty special.  And now she is a pretty big KINDERGARTNER! (oh my baby is growing up).

Molly's class

Her teachers said the thing they will miss most about Molly is her exuberant singing and her smile!

A proud Mom, Molly and the gift from her teachers

Feeding the Squirrels

While moving we found some extra sunflower seeds that we had used as bird feed.  Unfortunately we had to stop using that because it attracted more squirrels than birds and that drove Emmie nuts!  So, we thought we would give her a little fun in her last days in the house by feeding the squirrels some seeds.  Those squirrels are smart and hid in the seed bucket so Emmie couldn't see them.

Tiny Dancer

The big day finally arrived and Molly danced on the big stage for all the world to see.  She was graceful, beautiful, and a bit off at times.  I enjoyed every minute of seeing her performance because she looked like she was having so much fun dancing with her friends.  And when you put your kids in activities, isn't that what it is suppose to be about?  Fun and friends.

Checking out the view.

One big happy family (except Aiden who got left in the background).

I had to include this one because it is so fun and playful.
